Hi all. I've found these forums very helpful through my lurking. Based on what I've read/pictures I've viewed, I believe I'm having an issue with carpet beetles, and not bed bugs. I'm taking furniture from a family member who admittedly had a lot of dust and cat hair build up in his room. Upon vacuuming the bed, I encountered carpet beetle larvae on the frame. I confirmed a few additional beetles/larvae on the support he was using under the mattress. Both the mattress and wood support have since been discarded, but now I'm not sure that I should take the bed frame at all in fears it still may have beetles on it that will “move” with me to my new house. If I vacuum (again) and clean down the furniture, should I feel comfortable in taking the set, or it there a good possibility that there are still beetles lurking on the furniture?
