canteven on "Found dead one... have to start countdown over?"

If anyone had followed my past posts, we have been fighting bed bugs for nearly 3 months.
We switched PCOs recently and haven't found any bugs in 19 days.
My kids room, the main location of the infestation, has solid wooden bunk beds with a trundle. It has been a nightmare but they were so expensive and are great beds, so we didn't want to give them up.
After new PCO came in to treat, he told us we could seal the holes and paint the bare wood inside white after doing a very good inspection and vacuuming. We did this to make it easier to see any new fecal stains or bugs, and because the fecal staining was so gross. Today, we did that. When I was sanding it down, the bed rocked a lot. A dead adult plopped down. It was definitely dead. I don't know if it came out of a crack in the bed somewhere or what, since we checked every hole with a flashlight carefully.
Do we have to start counting down from 55 days again, even though it was definitely dead & we saw no other signs of them alive, no eggs, no shells? Thanks!
