So i have not been able to get a picture of the bugs yet, mainly because they don't come out until I'm around.
I have been at boyfriend's house for the past month. I had to come here because the bites from my mystery insect (which strongly resembles bedbugs) were itchy and HUGE. My mom is still in the apartment, and her friend has been staying there with her.
They see nothing. They do not have any reaction to the bites. They have not seen any sign of anything, to the point where they told me, "OK, they're gone."
I sat on a couch where i usually see them, and after 45 minutes, suddenly one was crawling on my leg.
Is this normal? Can bedbugs pick and choose what people to eat? Every time i have been at my house, i see creatures after an hour (and usually after 45 minutes). My mom is there all day every day and sees NOTHING.
Because i live in public housing, the time for treatment after inspection may be as long as 2 months. I managed to catch a sample bug and submit it before I came here, but the maintenance guy is overworked. I just really want to go home without issue.
