Hi, fellow BB Warriors,
It's been a while, but for those of you who remember the name, BB eggs in my headboard, footboard, night tables and (possibly) couch were treated twice (3.5 weeks apart) by a PCO with Demand CS, then nada. No residuals, quick follow-up "inspection," no interest in investigating a new possible fecal, possible bites, etc. So I DDVP'ed my entire apartment with the expert guidance of one Mr. P Bello and vamoosed for 4 weeks. My saga can be more fully revisited here, should anyone care to.
Long story shortish, I tentatively began to put my place back together, thought I again might be getting little bites (no marks but some itchiness), and again was given the 10-minute bum's rush by the inspector and janitor. In the inspector's defence, he said he wasn't an expert and that usually the customer told the co. what the problem was and they just showed up and obliterated whatever it was. So his conflicting "advice" to check for fecals, then not fecals but bites, then not bites but live bugs (which neither of us has ever seen), then to monitor only with climb-ups on a bed that has legs on one end and a platform on another makes more sense now.
The gist: After 40 nights of sleeping in my bed, I found these spots/stains on the wall behind my headboard and night table; I spotted some late last night, took blurry pics before I cleaned them and fell asleep, then found more this morning (though I can't be 100% sure that they were not there last night, too). As per my Flickr Images description, the "streaks" with 4-5 embedded linear dots + the blurry single dots are from the wall behind the headboard + night table. Darker dots were up on the wall where it meets the (then-stained, now clean) ceiling.
Sorry they are not crystal clear, but is there any way they can be ruled out as BB fecals? Please? David Cain, perhaps a gander as you sip your morning tea? :?:
(As an aside, I now see the wonderful necessity of BedBug Blue...)
Thanks, everyone.
