neuroticness on "Hotel Issue"

So I checked into my hotel last night, and performed my standard ritual of going up to the room and tearing it to pieces to make sure that there were no critters.

I found 1 dead and desiccated bedbug in the crease of the mattress, and two on the wall behind the bed (i couldn't tell their status they were too small for my old-lady eyes, and i couldn't get a picture. there was no staining or fecal matter visible on the mattresses or box spring

I left the room, went to the front desk. and reported it. They were great, moved me to room on the complete other side of the building (at least 1 avenue block distance), shut down the line it was in, comped me a night and gave me a bottle of wine to sleep off my troubles.

I inspected the new room with equal vigor, and it appears to be clear.
The next day still seems to be clear, and i have no bites or anything (I'm allergic to EVERYTHING so i'd likely react quickly)

I never brought my stuff into the first room (except my purse which I put on the table in the kitchen area, and my coat which i hung up

How worried should I be, given all that, that I am bringing them home? How significant is the complete lack of staining or fecal matter on the bed where I saw them in the original room? And given that hotels get these all the time, must i assume that if one room ahd some, that every room has some or can i take comfort in an apparently clear room on the other end of the building?

Thank you for any input - and sorry for the word explosion I'm just super nervous.

Edited to add: I stay here every year, and have never had a problem and the management hasn't changed, so I am assuming that I can at least trust that they take it seriously
