Hi experts, I've been paranoid for a bit so I thought I'd consult you guys...
I've been getting "bites" for almost a week now, maybe around 1 a day, usually concentrated around my arms or legs. They usually only show up as single "bites", never in a cluster. They're tiny (so tiny I have problems identifying if they're actually "bites" or just some normal bumps) and only slightly red, barely itchy. I'm pretty paranoid about bed bugs after a scare two years ago so I immediately started looking for signs of bed bugs and I didn't find any. I've continued to get "bites" so I've been checking every day for signs. Mostly around the bed and one chair because I don't spend much time on the sofa. I haven't found anything on my sheets or pillow.
All I've found so far are some black dots on the slats of my bed... Not sure if they're fecal stains or just wood-related spots? They don't smear or anything.

On a related note, during my investigation I did find maybe four carpet beetle larva (I think), which looked like this:

Maybe the "bites" are from irritation from them instead? Any guidance appreciated, thanks.
