Folks,
Me and my wife were working late one night on the couch and she noticed a small insect crawling but it disappeared under a seam. A little while later I got these bites and itchy red welts all over my thigh. I soon caught it and killed it( blood splattered out). This was somewhere in August '15. Called the Pest Control guys and got my house treated. Also got rid of my couch as I was anyway planning a new one.
Problem seemed to have been solved. No bites or bug sightings at all until Dec'15(4 months down the road). I had a late night conference call and took it from the guest room(the bed is not used by any one except for guests and we haven't had guests for over a year now). I got bitten all along the left side on my torso( from armpits down till the waist. At leat 10 bites in clusters of 2-3. Read itchy welts wich lasted at least a week.
I immediately took off the bedsheet and found one dead BB ( must have got pressed and dies earlier) Did't find any live one on through inspection.

Got the Pest Control guys again got pesticide treatment done. I had become paranoid by then and got rid of the bed and matress as well. I'm sure this wasn't the same population as earlier as 4 months is a long enough time for a proper infestation but I couldnt find any bugs on close inspection of the bed/mattress. I am guessing they got introduced via gifts I got from friends( 20-30 of them during a local festival). I had kept all of them on the same bed for a couple of days before opening them.

Once the treatment was done I got down to inspecting the room throughly and found these small insects which I thought were bed bug nymphs on the clothes in my cupboard in the same room(I had been told by the PCO that bagging clothes not used recently is not required). They were on 4-5 jackets and also between some shirts I had kept on the shelves. They were of different sizes but the largest I saw was about 1mm, white in color. I freaked out and called the PCO guys to have a second treatment scheduled immediately. They said I should wait for at least 15 days before the second treatment. I then researched a lot and looked on the internet for photos of BB nymphs and but these bugs I found looked a little different from those. These were narrower and longer. I then set up CO2 yeast trap inside the rooms and also on beds in other rooms while we were out travelling for three days. The traps on beds didn't catch anything but the traps in the guest bed room which does not have a bed any more caught 5-6 of these mystrey bugs I saw earlier. I then started looking at other cupboards in other rooms and found the same bugs in closets there as well.
Today I was inspecting the wall next to my bed close to the floor and found two of the same bugs. I could take some good pictures and am attaching them here. Would request the experts to ID these. I catch at least 2-3 of these bugs everytime I setup C02 traps anywhere in the house. I showed two of these bugs to my PCO and he said they wern't BBs, instead bird mites. I am sure these arn't mites but don't know what these are?

These are three photos of the same subject.

Please note that the black lines in the second pic. are from a pencil my son used to scribble on the wall. That might give you an idea of the size( approx 1-2 mm)
