I honestly do not think this is one, but I found it in my bed this morning shortly after a suspicious triangle formation of bites on my wrist (just one). This has been going on for months and I think is beginning to take a mental toll. I had a dog sniffing service come, highly-reviewed in a major metro (that is unfortunately known for its ongoing battle against bed bugs). The dog found nothing.
I would assume after 6+ months that the infestation would be so heavy I would be a fool to miss it, but I just get one set of strange triangular bites every 5-7 days, only on my arms, typically in the same places (notably bending areas, where eczema typically takes hold). I am terrified of bugs, so it's easy to "infer" virtually anything to be a bed bug infestation. For instance, I saw a translucent seeming bug run across my bed spread a few weeks ago, but it was not flat, and it was the middle of the day. I'm also a lawyer and professionally trained to argue both sides, so I just end up sitting here arguing with myself all day, which is...not fun. Can someone please help me settle the debate, at least as to this piece of the puzzle?
Also, this was extremely hard to the touch, and solid. I imagine a casing would not be solid since there's obviously nothing in it anymore. It crushed to dust after applying significant force.
Thank you for your help!
