So we had our first treatment on 12/21, 12 days ago. Last night and today, I found 5 live adult bugs (2 in the cracks between the baseboards and the living room wall, 1 in my living room armchair, 2 on the mattress, one of which was full of blood). I've seen several live nymphs as well, but the adults are what concern me.
Our second treatment will take place on Monday, and the company is just contracted to do two. If we're seeing live adults this close to the 2nd treatment, does that likely mean that we'll need a third? That is, maybe the live bugs are still laying eggs, and we'll need a 3rd treatment to handle what hatches after the 2nd treatment?
(I did e-mail the company that our apartment management hired to exterminate, but I haven't heard back, I assume due to New Years holidays.)
