Hi,
I work in property management and have seen my fair share of bedbugs. Usually it's due to people's lack of cleaning habits and indiscretion of how many people are let in the front door. I try to be very careful of who I come into contact with because I know those who live around me are not always the cleanest of folks. I pride myself in keeping clean due to having dogs and cats. I vacuum and change the sheets weekly.
To my surprise when I opened my closet this morning, I found a bug just chilling on one of my folded sweaters. I instantly got it into a Ziploc bag and snapped some photos. I've spend the last hour canvassing my closet and bedroom to find signs of any other bugs, shell casings, blood spots, etc. but have found nothing. Like anyone in this situation, I hope this was just a lone ranger and that it is just one of those dastardly look-a-likes.
Any insight is much appreciated regarding this bug ID and if it's fully mature.
