We discovered a dead bed bug under the bed about 3 weeks ago. The PC guy came two weeks ago and treated with chemicals and steam. A week went by and we were fine. Then I started noticing tiny like scabs on my arms, hands and shoulders. I'm freaking out that they are baby bed bug bites. They don't itch like the adult bites did but can the baby bites look different than adult bites?
They are coming back to retreat tomorrow. There has been nothing in our traps, no blood on the sheets. I did see what looked like some black specks on the new box spring cover.
I'm freaking out. Hoping this is successful. Our mattress is a two year old sleep number bed. They treated it and we put a cover on it. Our bed and side tables are six years old but I feel like they should just go in the trash. We threw away bags full of old clothes and linens.
Two days ago, I found a bug of some kind on the window sil and bagged it up for them. He is still alive in a sealed sandwich bag.
This experience is horrific and I have high anxiety over it.
We are living with our clothes in totes in the garage. I'm washing clothes constantly.
My husband is super chill about it. I'm getting the bites not him.
