We stayed at a hotel where I was bitten by a bed bug. We took precautions not to bring them back, but are still very worried. After washing a duvet cover, we found some diffuse light orange spots that have us very scared. I understand that bed bug fecal stains are black after washing. But we have wracked our brains, and can't think of anything that could have caused those stains. Is it ever possible that fecal stains could go orange from the rust color they can have? Also could nymph fecal stains be different? Help would be much appreciated!!
Thank you!
