I have anxiety and OCD and I tend to think irrationally about subjects that concern me. Because of this, I have honestly started to lose trust in myself, and before you say this is bad keep in mind that I overreact to most things.
So I'm asking you guys to give me your best guess. For about a month now, I have been worried about bed bugs. I haven't seen any but I have random bumps that pop up sometimes and I have itching, which I often can't easily tell the source of. Some of the bumps are in lines but the significant majority are in random places, often in places where my skin wasn't exposed while I was sleeping.
To keep calm I tell myself that bumps pop up sometimes in random places and thinking about bed bugs is going to make me itchy. At this point I do not believe that I have bed bugs but of course because I'm obsessive I continue to worry. Obviously, only an exhaustive inspection that I do not have the attention span to do can give me the definitive answer, but I would like you guys to give me some educated guesses. Thanks in advance!
