Dear All, let me first say that this is a fantastic place to find more info on bed bugs, and thank you all so much for all your engagement, it means a lot!
I was traveling with work to Eastern Europe and came home last Friday (26th Feb,i.e some two weeks ago, I spent 6 days at a hotel there). Few days after I noticed a rash on my neck and inner elbow whereas the one on the neck disappeared and the one on my inner elbow remained. Two or three days after the weird rash started spreading on my right inner side of arm, and then on my left inner arm, and inner sides of both bicepses, and later 2-3 spots on the stomach, and few more on the back. My family doctor also confirmed it looked like insect bites, but didn't know what it was. Sometimes they are skin-color almost not noticeable, and sometimes pinkish-reddish, and never itch. No bumps or rash on legs whatsoever. Here are some pics of the rash on arms (note, there are more linear dots on my lower back that I couldn't take a pic of):
I decided to check the bed, the sheets were completely clean, no blood or feces or any usual bedbug traces, and also when I lifted the mattress I didn't find any bed bug clues anywhere. However, I did find some dried out weird larvae (?!) and some dark spots that I thought could be bed-bug related but to be honest it seemed more like old crummy dark fabric (looks bed buggy but it really is fabric and could easily be removed), and dirt, please find below the pics:
Could you be so kind and let me know what are the larvae? Are they bed bugs or these carpet bugs I found online? If no signs of bedbugs, could it be that I was bitten at the hotel but didn't bring them back home? Just to be sure I washed on 60c and dried on 80c all the sheets, vacuumed mattress and the room and sprayed everything with some insecticide for bedbugs that I bought today.
