Hi all, I moved from an infested apartment in a multi-family building a few days ago after living with bed bugs for over a month. The bugs were coming from another unit. I would see them mostly in the bathroom, and actually rarely in the bedroom. I do not believe I was getting bit since I isolated the bed, and I don't react other than small raised marks. But the landlord refused to call in a professional. So, I figured they would never be dealt with.
Most everything that came with me was either heat treated by a PCO (clothes, electronics, papers), laundered, or is new (mattress, sheets, metal bed frame). The frame is sitting on interceptors, which are clear so far. However, I found this stain on the fitted sheet on the side of the new mattress at the mattress' foot. I wonder if anybody thinks I inadvertently brought a few stowaways? The photo is post-laundry. Thanks!
