Tedbugs on "Spots on box spring carpet beetle or BB?"

Hi, I have been going crazy with these itchy red wheals and so I scoured my bed for BB. I found carpet beetle larvae and plenty of their casts, but also what looks a lot like the telltale fecal spots of BBs. The timing and placement of the wheals also seems consistent with BB: two on the face the Tuesday before last, one on the palm later, two on the bicep this Friday, and now one on the foot as of last night. (I've heard that BB will bite days apart on parts exposed during sleep.) But I've found no BB casts or any live bugs, no bloodstains either. I encased the mattress and box spring just in case, though, and I'm setting those hardware store bed bug traps. Any chance this is only carpet beetles? Thanks in advance!
