Had our fourth treatment on June 1st. Found 1 unfed baby on my nightstand June 2nd, nothing else since. Daughter, who's been sleeping in our bed since bb discovery April 25th (husband on the couch), plans to try sleeping in her room again tonight. She slept in her room two nights after the third treatment and woke up the next morning covered in bites, necessitating a fourth treatment.
We're hoping this is it, but my bigger concern is if it isn't. We planned our dream vacation to Europe months ago. As of now it's still on; we're leaving July 1st for two weeks. We know everything we need to do to protect ourselves from bb's while away and how to avoid bringing them home. My worry is what will happen at home during the two weeks we're away if there are still bugs in the house. Our cat likes to sleep on our daughter's bed; any remaining bugs will stay in her room if she stays there. But I don't like the idea of using her as bug bait. However, if we shut her out of both bedrooms won't any stragglers spread to the rest of the house looking for food?
