I got bed bugs a few months ago, it was describes a pretty heavy infestation by the time I alerted my landlord and treatment started (not sure on details but it involved spraying twice 10 days apart).
I had two sets of treatment and thought I was in the clear so bought a new bed and sofa... turns out they came back and I now believe they are in the sofa!
I've decided to get rid and start again! This means pretty much all new furniture and throwing out my almost new stuff.
However as I have a mattress protector on I'm thinking my mattress is safe? Although I guess they could be on my existing mattress cover? Is it recommended I buy a new cover or wash the cover and put it back on before moving?
Dome other items I am unsure on how to manage, electronics including a PS3, printer and a TV, I never saw them on the TV but is is only a few feet away from the sofa which I believe has bed bugs.
Other items I'm having trouble deciding how to manage include shoes, ski boots and book.

and to put items in a sealed bag container for 3 weeks and that will kill them? Does any one have any experience?
