Hi,
Recently I took a game console to a friend's house and left it there for about a week. During the week I learned that one of the residents of the house had discovered bedbugs in her room.
So far, the infestation has been only limited to that one room in the house on the second floor. The console was on a high place on the first floor. We theorize that the resident's boyfriend brought them back because he had a recent hospital stay and also frequents motels, and that is the only room he is in. Ever. Period.
I got the console back yesterday. I have already contracted bedbugs in the past, and they were a pain to get rid of (bed casings, steam clean). What's the likelihood that they would be hiding inside of the console, should I be worried?
Edit: I have already let the console sit in its usual place for one day already. Did not find any crawling around or new bites on me. As a precaution I have wrapped all accessories in pantyhose, stuck in a garbage liner, and put on the highest isolated shelf of my closet until I fully conclude that it's safe to take out.
