Daughter, who is very reactive, has been bite-free and her room bug-free for 14 days. Passive monitor clear, no fecal, no cast skins. This is huge, as her bed was ground zero of a major infestation. I spotted a single live bug running across the top of our bed five days ago and called PCO, who's coming today for a 5th treatment and to re-inspect the rest of the house.
We're very close to the end of this and are going ahead with our vacation plans that we booked months ago. Leaving next Friday, July 1st for two weeks (yes, we're fully armed with the tools and knowledge to protect ourselves during and after vacation). My worry is that because vacation falls during our 30-day countdown and we won't be around to do bed checks for two weeks any possible surviving bugs will take over and we'll have to deal with this all over again when we get home.
Any suggestions? Should we invest in active monitors in the two occupied bedrooms at the very least?
