Hi Guys,

I'm on my own, there is only one PCO in the remote area that said that once nest is removed they will die on their own ... he is to busy dealing with bed bugs infestations to come out.

We had a sparrow nest ( Ontario, Canada ) under our window ... birds moved out .. and I forgot to remove it.
Looks like our room is now infested with Bird Mites.

I steam cleaned room where possible, purchased mattress cover.

I removed nest and sprayed around with pressure washer and Pinesol, To Cleanup anything.

Mistake one - my wife dropped drops of 100% Tea Trea Oil all over the house - because she noticed that direct spray kills them... I hope that the fogging will not spread them around ?

I picked up from PCO some 0.26 Permithrin spray ... I will spray around where birds where nestlings and in garage and outside house where nest was ..

Should I spray whole unit/house ? or just room where they started ?

What are chances that birds carried, bed bugs ? where they nested was direct access to inside house ( drilled hole )

What other steps should I take, very little information online ... and a lot horror stories that

I read that its almost impossible to get rid of them, but if people are not the right host ... shouldn't they die on their own as they can't close circle to breed ?

Shoud I wash all the clothes in bedroom or they don't infest wardrobe, I have cellulose blinds too..

Appreciate all tips.
