Hello, I just woke up and found half of a smooth textured bug shell in my bed. It was blackish in color and crumbled when pushed on. I looked on the floor and found the rest of the bug. It is a smooth and shiny body, no striation marks like are typical of bed bugs. I'm freaking out even though it is smooth and looks to be black, only because it was near my bed. We just sprayed for fleas last week so I'm assuming that's why whatever it is, it is dead. The shiny part of the shell separated from the top part and looked like a shiny, circular beetle shell . Can someone please verify If this is or is not a bedbug so I can relax??
