nikki on "Not BB, but what is it? [a: pleasing fungus beetle]"

Hi - we got back from a major hiking trip a few days ago and tonight I found this. It's almost the size of a quarter and I just want to make sure it's nothing worrisome. Can any experts identify? I'm really pretty curious.
