Hi,
So about two weeks ago my cat found one bed bug in the master bedroom of the house. It was confirmed to be a younger bed bug that had not fed in around a week. No one in the household had any bites, including my sister, who is very allergic to all bug bites (including bed bugs). We cleaned the house and did not find any other bugs, or signs of bed bugs. We made an appointment with an exterminator that was scheduled 2 weeks after the day we found the bug. During those two weeks prior to the treatment, we did not see any other bed bugs and we did not get bitten.
Our entire house was treated 2 days ago and we have still not seen any bed bugs. We will be getting a second treatment in 2 weeks just to be sure.
However, my question is: is this normal? To not find any bugs after the first treatment.
Everywhere online people have stories of multiple bugs being found after and before the treatment, so now I'm worried that something went wrong in our situation.
If anyone has any helpful information it would be much appreciated.
