So we have a minor infestation, contained in the slats in the bed. We are having a PCO come and do treatments (4th one this morning) but last Friday I found one lone adult bedbug on the chair in the living room. We immediately stripped the slip overs and pillows and washed them and found no signs of bed bugs in the chair. We also checked the couch and again no signs there. Could this be a hitchhiker from the bedroom? Do bed bugs send out scouts for new areas?
We've isolated the chair and couch using sticky pads under all the feet and pinning up the skirts. Is there anything else we should do?
