My heat treatment is scheduled for Thursday (I wish it was today..never been so anxious to get something over with!)
For those items that can't stay in the house...candles, albums and my vinyl Funko collectibles is it recommended to put them in a box and remove them from the house? But if I remove them from the house aren't I taking the risk of recontaminating when I bring them back in? These items are all from our front office where we haven't seen any bugs...but I know that doesn't mean anything.
If you've had heat treatment how did you handle the meltable items?
I'm also confused because my guy is having me bag all my clothes in drawers and dry them on high heat and then bagging in fresh bags and leaving outside. I've read some other PCO checklists where they say to put clothes loosely in open weave laundry baskets and leave around the house so they'll get treated during the heat treatment.
Why do PCO's do this differently and is one better than the other?
