awditty on "bagged unheated belongings - how long's safe?"

belongings that could not be heated(size, sensitivity), some in the basement around 16 to 18 degrees celcius (60 to 64F) how long to leave the stuff in there to be sure BBs are dead?

the bags are either 2mil poly or cling / stretch wrap.

this is about the temperature - I've seen 18 months thrown around but that was for around 23 celcius (75F). Occasionally these bags have gotten up to 25C (77F) but not for long - an hour at most.

I laid a medical heating pad over some items after reading Mr (or does he prefer Dr or "doc"?) Sorkin about BBs being attracted to heat and others writing about hibernating bugs being woken from hibernation by occasional heating.

clear bags, seen no bugs inside
