I have a small studio apartment

I spotted my first bed bug on 8/28. I believe they had been in my apartment for about a week before that, because that is when mysterious marks were appearing on my skin. It turns out, I do not react well to bed bug bites. It's hard to hide, and explain these welts.

The PCO came and inspected, and found nothing other than the dead bugs I found, and saved to show him. Fortunately, they came and treated 9 days later. A week after that, he came and reinspected, found 1 bug crawling near my bed, so he sprayed my bed frame and wall behind the bed. That was the only evidence he found, was that 1 live bug.

I thought I was doing good. I hadn't had any obvious BB bites since a cluster appeared on 9/14, on my stomach. I have had a few individual marks that may have been caused by the mosquito's taking shelter in my apartment (I have seen them). But then I found a bed bug crawling on my couch at 5 a.m. today, while I was getting ready for work.

The PCO is coming again tomorrow to inspect and "treat as necessary" , as the lady on the phone put it. It's frustrating because there aren't very many signs of BB anywhere. A couple signs on my encasements from a couple of weeks ago, but nothing on my couch, or the baseboard. And of the few that I have found, quite a few were on my couch. I feel so unorganized living out of bags, and having all my belongings in totes. It's not a fun thing to do when you live in such a small space.

Any suggestions, words of wisdom, or encouragement. I was going to start sitting on my couch again, but not since I found another bug crawling there. (I haven't sat on my couch since 9/5)
