I'd been getting random bug bites for about 3-4 weeks and I had a pest control assessment come out for an assessment this past Monday. The Thursday before he came, an entire floor of the municipal building I work in (the floor below mine) was evacuated bc one bed bug was seen. So it was on my mind because of that. The PCO found no signs of bed bugs, but I woke up with 3 red welts (not that itchy and kind of spread out, but you could say they were in a loosely diagonal line) on my arm today and freaked out, so decided to do my own inspection. In the seams where my mattress is quilted I found all these hard, tiny, yellowish things. Without being magnified, they're smaller than sesame seeds, and they are hard (I really had to spear one with my nail to get it to break at all, and when I did, nothing squirted out or anything. It just broke into 2 pieces).... They are also opaque, and not even remotely sticky to the touch. Are these eggs? I am freaking out.

Hope this pic works. I am new to Flickr. Thanks in advance of anyone can help. I have serious anxiety problems and am 100% freaking out. I cannot remember if those things were there last week when the PCO looked, although I'm thinking no. I've also had a problem this summer with biting fruit flies, so if anything I'm hoping this is related to that.
