I know this has been talked about before. I live smack dab in the middle of Oklahoma. It's hotter than blue blazes right now. It's 90 today and going to be hot all week. My car is black with black leather and it gets hot in there. My daughter brought the little critters home from a friend's house and we thought she had just been bitten by mosquitoes. Fast forward about 2 weeks ago and we find bed bugs. In her room, our closet (where laundry is sorted) and 1 adult under our box springs. We also found a couple on our bathroom on the wall that connects our closet. We had an inspection then heat treatment of affected areas as well as spraying. Spraying is going to become a regular thing now. All our beds and box springs are now bed bug protected. The kids beds on climb ups. They won't fit my bed its to big and heavy. New mattress for my daughter. Her old one was treated but after wrapped in plastic and disposed of. We've cleaned and vacuumed, used steam on living room and disposed of clutter and DE used. Anyway, my question is my daughter is a dancer and her dance shoes cannot be washed, dried or steamed. I've placed each set in a gallon ziplock and placed them in my dash today. I also placed a thermometer in the car that was registering 150 degrees. Should I follow up with freezing them. I did find one small one on one of her dance shoes. Plus she's a teen and messy! This has been a battle trying to maker her understand she can't live cluttered! Ugh! Teens are hard.

I've always checked the hotels we've stayed in and I never thought she'd bring them from a friend. Lesson learned!! I've thrown so many things out and this has been beyond stressful. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! 😕
