So, I moved into a flat with an existing bedbug infestation just over two months ago. We reckon it was pretty bad and was in two bedrooms and the living room.
I've had three sprays from a PCO - he's sprayed generally with little inspection about where they might be.
The last live bedbug sighting was seven weeks ago. I haven't found any faeces since we found the initial infestation and I've never found cast skins.
I'm still getting bites - on seven occasions since. Five appeared in the morning so I am assuming they came from when I was in bed and two while on the sofa.
I have inspected pretty thoroughly round the bed, but cannot inspect the sofa properly because the cushions are attached and it's a dark colour.
Should I treat this as if we need to confirm the bugs again and get a proper inspection finally done, or shall I just get a reliable PCO in?
Thanks for any thoughts - I just don't know where to go next!
