Ncummingjoy on "Can you help ID this?"

We have been seeing this in our kids bedrooms and we are wondering if its bed bugs, carpet beetle or something else entirely? I have only seen bed bugs once before a long time ago in a hotel and they were more red than this. (The picture looks like a red tint but they are actually kind of brown.) But these bugs have appeared around their beds, especially on their stuffed animals. We did a thorough cleaning of their room but I am not sure if we treated it correctly, since we aren't positive what these are. They don't run away much when we find them and if we squish them, they have a tannish color that squirts out (ew!)
