bugswillpass on "Fecal or mystery dirt? ID please."

Hello everyone! Hope this finds you well and winning the battle.
I'll be brief. We found this stain on a cushion in our new short-term rental which had been on a sofa bed which the landlord was in the process of replacing when we viewed it. We didn't think anything of it being replaced until we say this. I'm mostly sure it's just mystery dirt but my more anxious side thinks it.could be fecal which someone has tried to wash off. If someone has a moment to ID I'd be really grateful!
