Ok so last year I moved in with a relative and found out that her neighbours had bed bugs and they were coming through the walls and biting me. Found a live bug but when pest control came by and examined my room they found nothing. Management was horrible at my relatives place so they never came back and sprayed.
Then in December it was time for me to move out so I took all the steps I possibly could so I wouldn't bring them with me. Didn't bring any of my furniture, washed/sealed all my clothes, and closely inspected all my electronics.
9 months passed and about in mid august I got bites verrryy similar to the bites I had when I had bed bugs (Same kind of reaction). There were a couple bites on my forearm and a triangle pattern below my butt. I was certain that I had brought them with me. I tore up my room and found carpet beetles living in my bed...
Now a month and a little has passed and no bites. I bought some passive bed bug traps and have been monitoring my bedsheets/around my bed and have found nothing for the last month.
Is it possible I freaked out too soon? Could this still be a success story?
